After completing a Mechanical Engineering degree at Bristol University, Glen joined the UK Civil Service. Working for various government departments including the Department for International Development (DFID), Glen worked on issues as diverse as regeneration in Eastern Europe and climate change.
These roles further fuelled his interest in Eastern Europe, an area he had been visiting and photographing for years as an amateur photographer. With reluctance, Glen left the Civil Service in 2005 to pursue his greater love of photography and has been travelling the world, camera in hand, with even greater regularity ever since.
Glen shoots on both film and digital, using his beloved Mamiya 7 medium format camera and his newest toy, the Canon 1Ds Mark II.
Glen’s work is primarily sold as fine art; however, it has also featured in newspapers in the UK and Norway. In addition, Glen is available for commissions.
